Omu Resort

Omu resort is a wonder of nature, offering a whole edutainment experience. It is located in Bogije, Ibeju-Lekki. Omu resort is an ideal location for a family’s day out. There, you can expect a memorable day with many fun activities. Surrounded by the clear water of Omu Creek, the resort has a water park area for kids with activities like archery, park rides, horse riding, kayaking, go-karting, and quad bikes.

There is also a play area, a mini-golf area, a mini aquarium, and a zoo with animals like flamingos, lions, zebras, tigers, monkeys, chimpanzees, foxes, crocodiles, alligators, snakes, hyenas, and a variety of birds among others. The resort is also an ideal spot for family picnics.

Some of the activities are free, and others are paid. Entrance fees can be made online or using ATM cards at the venue as the management recently announced it no longer takes cash. A group of five can request the family package, which affords them a discount on the entrance fee.

Dreamworld Africana 

Dreamworld Africana is an amusement and theme park established in 2010. It is situated in Ibeju Lekki, Lagos State. Sitting on 10 acres of land, it reopened to the public in 2013 with many attractions to keep the family entertained. The park has many rides, including a roller coaster, games arcade, drop tower carousel, bouncy castles, Ferris wheel, bumper cars, go-karts, and others. Games like the bumper car pavilion would be a sure delight to kids, teenagers, and even adults.

The Family Coaster has enough thrills to leave everyone gasping for more. The Toddler Play Zone also guarantees educational and safe fun for your little kids. Make a big splash in the swimming area and water slides. Entrance into Dreamworld Africana is N2000 (it is subject to change). You can either pay for each ride you want or opt for the all-day rides access for a stipulated fee. It is best to visit early in the day to have enough time for all the fun and activities. It opens between 8am to 7pm on weekdays and 8am to 8pm on the weekends.

Maxtivity 

Maxtivity is a family entertainment center located in Lekki. There, the fun is unending, as it offers a variety of attractions for the entire family at an affordable price. It promotes family bonding time with exciting activities like bumper cars, soft play, arcades & virtual reality, wall climbing, trampolines, party rooms, and other outdoor activities. There is a beautiful section for children under the age of three. It costs about N7000+ for each child to roam the area limitlessly for two hours. A few minutes spent will cost a minimum of N1,600. Their family packages range from N4,000 to N27,000. You can use tokens that allow you to share easily among the whole family. Fun Factory

If you intend to give your kids a fantastic time that will leave smiles on their faces for a long time, then Fun Factory is the place. Located in Lekki Phase 1, it is ideal for children aged two years and above. This theme park and events management center has many recreational activities to keep you engaged all day. From the merry-go-round, train rides, mini-Ferris wheel, slides, game booth, cup rides, bouncing castle, climbing towers, and more. Safety is also paramount to the management, hence the stationing of guides at strategic spots to ensure children don’t engage in harmful activities.

Parents are, however, still advised to monitor their kids. Fun Factory also has various clubs for the kids: basketball club, swimming club, arts & craft club, etc. It also encourages family memberships to promote the habit of parents spending more time with their family. Fun Factory has fun activities for adults as well. You can join swimming classes for people of all ages and gain basic swimming skills.

Fun factory allows you to rent space. You can rent the entire park for a fee if you wish to have a party or a family-only event. To get access to all the fun activities at the park, you have to pay an entrance fee of N3000. The park opens daily between the hours of 8am to 6pm.

Funtopia Water Park 

Funtopia Water Park is the first of its kind in terms of its modern indoor and outdoor facilities for all age groups. It is located a few minutes from Victoria Garden City, Lekki Peninsula. Funtopia Water Park is an unusual experience being a fun place with something for everyone. Some of the activities and facilities it offers include the arcade and computer games in “Cusco City,” billiards and table tennis in “The Shed”, carnival games, outdoor play systems, water rides and slides, an in-pool bar for adults, bouncy castle, a snack bar, and a well-maintained indoor-outdoor leisure park.

Outdoors, you can enjoy live music from bands. Other activities include educational programs for children of all ages, including exhibitions and workshops. These programs are designed to give children something to learn while having fun. You can also buy souvenirs there. It is advisable to visit with an extra change of clothes and swimwear. The Gate fee for the park is N1500, and the park opens at 10am and closes at 6pm.
